How Temperature Measurement Helps Save Energy
Did you know? Lowering the room temperature by just 1 degree can save up to 6 percent of energy. It's worth paying close attention when heating. With the integrated thermometer in our weather stations and thermo-hygrometers, you can always keep an eye on the current room temperature – allowing you to adjust your heating habits to save energy. Has the temperature reached a level that's comfortable for you? Then the thermostat can be turned down a bit to maintain the room temperature and save money.
Practical everyday helpers: Some models also offer a high-low temperature alarm that alerts you with a sound when your individually set temperatures are reached. Maintain the optimal indoor climate
It can be difficult to maintain an optimal indoor climate, especially when you turn on the heating or in rooms with high humidity. This additional base station comes with a built-in hygrometer/thermometer that measures the room humidity and temperature. It also displays the maximum and minimum values from the past 24 hours to help you prevent mildew and dry air. If you're not sure what constitutes an ideal indoor temperature or humidity, you can keep an eye on the indoor climate via the comfort indicator, which displays a smiley to show you the comfort level.
Practical alarm function
The base station also features an integrated alarm clock with a frost warning, which is guaranteed to get you out of bed on time. If you need an extra five minutes in bed, just hit the snooze button to silence the alarm. And when you're ready to get up, the reliable weather forecast will help you decide what to wear for the day ahead. What's more, in addition to a time, date and day of the week display, the base station also displays the phases of the moon.
