The sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, amount of precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity to the base station via 868 MHz frequency. The console's clearly structured 5.7" colour display shows a large variety of measured local data as well as your station's historically measured values.
A reliable local weather forecast is calculated and displayed using weather symbols on the console display for the upcoming 12h. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via online platforms such as "AWEKAS", ''Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. Furthermore, the WIFI function enables Internet time synchronization and firmware updates. You can set a temperature alarm for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light signal when the specified value is reached. The weather station comes with a solar-powered outdoor sensor, which is powered by solar energy and measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. Simply align the large solar panel with the sun according to your location. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries (not included) as a back-up during installation, and they will take care of the power supply. All the measurements will appear on the screen of the base station, which can be located up to 150 metres away.
Wi-Fi weather station with feature-packed base station
The base station of the 6-day 4CAST PRO SF weather station features a stylish design and displays the data received from the solar-powered sensor. It also takes its own readings via the built-in thermo/hygro sensor, which measures the ambient indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. Together with the maximum/minimum memory, this enables you to keep an eye on the indoor climate and effectively prevent mildew and excessively dry air. Outdoor temperature, precipitation and more – you can also view the maximum/minimum readings for the other measurements made by the solar-powered sensor.
Share weather data and use it with your smart home
Access the measurements from your solar-powered sensor remotely and share them with others: with a few clicks, you can send your weather station data to the ProWeatherLive platform. If you have a smart home, you can also make use of the German-language portal AWEKAS, which allows you to transfer measurement data from the solar-powered sensor to your smart home system free of charge. The new BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 combines in a unique way a compact design with an extensive information service. The very compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined value is reached. For outside temperatures of -3 °C and below a special alarm for frost/ice warning can additionally be activated.A poor indoor climate often involves health risks especially for children and the elderly. The BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 offers you a smart feature to deal with this. The indoor climate indicator informs steadily about the indoor climate with a symbol.Furthermore the BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 features a radio controlled time and date setting (DCF time signal). Already a few minutes after switching the device on the current Central European Time (CET) and the date with weekday are displayed automatically.
